04.20.10
COMIC BOOK CONVENTIONS AND ME IN 2010

Plainly put, I'm not doing any this year. It was a very hard thing for me to just skip out on since I've been doing 2 to 3 shows a year for the past 10 plus years. It's been a thing I looked forward to, friends I got to meet up with, and chatting with fans of my work. I'll miss it all this year. Next year, however, is a different story.

I have my reasons. Simple and understandable.

The most noticeable would be my drastic lack of new material. It's not that I'm not being productive. I've just shifted my creative efforts around. I've spent the past year researching and writing for an upcoming comic book series… one that I'm currently in the pre-production phase of things.

My day job has been very demanding, resulting in me working many a hours. Hours that could be put toward the fanciful, but I have bills to pay. All of which I made an oath to extinguish and be debt free in a year's time. Go me!

I may not be around in person, but I'm always a click away.

10.04.09
BALTIMORE COMIC-CON OCT 10TH-11TH

If you're anywhere in the Baltimore area, stop in to the annual Baltimore Comic-Con October 10th and 11th. I'll have a table (#172) in artist alley signing and selling my usual wares. Say hi... I bite. :D

09.10.09
PITTSBURGH COMICON SEPT 11TH-13TH

It's that time of year again... wait. Normally, this convention happens in April, but since the building was demolished renovated, a bit of re-scheduling was in order. Right. This weekend, collectors, fans, nerds everywhere converge under one roof to express their admiration toward comic-books, movies, anime, toys, and other unnecessary spending for the annual Pittsburgh Comicon. Stan Lee is even gracing us with his presence, be it Saturday only and $40 to wait in line for a signature. If you got the time and some disposable cash, stop on in peruse the isles and meet the creators.

I have a booth offering my latest wares. I have some new prints, all of which are now available in 4 different sizes! Also, I have plenty of the Infrastructure.1 sketchbooks left. Everything must go!

See you at the show!

09.09.09
NEW PAINTING: LINE OF SIGHT

It's the lovable Red. Not much to explain here... maybe, who's watching whom?

HERE is the painting

08.30.09
THIS FALL'S EVENTS

It's a busy busy next few months for me. Lots happening and plenty to do before each event. So here's a rundown of things to come. If you're looking for something to do, stop by and say hi. I'll be posting reminders on each event as they draw near.

Gallery show...
Byron Winton: Still Standing. A collected gathering of paintings and illustrations. 10.17.09 – 10.30.09 At the Zombo Gallery. 4900 Hatfield St. Lawrenceville Pittsburgh, PA. Opening reception the 17th 6-10PM and a Halloween closing party the 30th 6-11PM.

24 Hour Comic Day...
At Time Tunnel Comics 10.03.09 3PM - 10.04.09 3PM Goal: create a 24 page comic book in 24 hours. It's a global event yet, Time Tunnel is the only location in PA to host.

Comic Book Conventions...
Pittsburgh Comicon 09.11.09 – 09.13.09
Baltimore Comic-Con 10.10.09 – 10.11.09
Steel City Con 12.04.09 – 12.06.09

05.09.09
NEW PAINTING: DEAD MAN'S HAND

It's far beyond Cézanne's card players, but rightly comparable to the famously known series of dogs playing poker paintings by M. Coolidge. My take, zombies at a poker table. The notoriety of the undead has removed the fear and dread of the Zombie Apocalypse. Hence, the farce I've depicted.

HERE is the painting

04.13.09
2009 CONVENTIONS

Lets keep the amount of my public appearances conservative this year, considering my expectations of 4-5 last year and only did 2. So sad. The Pittsburgh show changed its date due to the demolition of the ExpoMart and have been anxiously waiting the renovation of their new location. They had hopes for an early in the year event, but construction hasn't been too kind. See you at the conventions. As they approach, I'll announce and promote the new work I expect to have available.

PITTSBURGH COMICON 09.11.09 - 09.13.09
BALTIMORE COMIC-CON 10.10.09 - 10.11.09

07.08.08
APPROACH AND IDENTIFY

Well, I've finally gone through with it. Yep, I'm on the final stages of ridding myself of the Urbanite By Design moniker. From this day forward, my art will be identified simply as Byron Winton. There will be no confusion as to what my art is or how convoluted it'll be to promote my art... it's basically mine, me.

The first step was to secure a new domain... www.byronwinton.com. The second, to change over all of the internet's UBD references to BW. (There were a couple I couldn't change only because my user name is some variation of UBD... so I'll keep them for now.) Then recently, revamp the website. So yes, my website is refreshed... larger images, reduced clutter, and simpler shopping. Have a look around and let me know what you think. Both domains www.byronwinton.com and www.urbanitebydesign.com will get you the same site... for now.

Yeah, I know about the few missing gallery thumbnails. I assure you that if you click them you can still view the larger image.

Also, I'm now offering a wider selection of sizes for my prints... 4x6, 8x12, 12x18, and 20x30.

03.22.08
2008 CONVENTIONS

It's comic book convention season again and I plan on doing the rounds. I'm looking to do 3, possibly 5 shows this year. Hope to see you there.

WIZARD WORLD PHILLY  05.30.08 - 06.01.08

08.16.07
NEW PAINTING: NEON LANGUOR

So I dodged the summer heat by staying indoors and became productive. The result, a bizarre sci-fi looking painting. Don't ask me what it means, it evolved from a few clever ideas.

HERE is the painting.

WIZARD WORLD PHILLY REVIEW

Wow, what an experience the Wizard World Philly comic book convention was. I was well received and did some great sales. I almost thought it wasn't going to happen.

06.06.07
CONVENTIONAL LOVE

The big one is next weekend folks. The Wizard Philly Comic Con. The one that's damn near break'n the bank. I'm like the worst manager of money. I've spent more money for this show than I could ever make back... the table, the hotel, renting a car, a brand new printed table cloth, and a business banking account to do on-the-spot credit card transactions. Thankfully, the later two can make back their costs with other shows. It's worth it though to have the chance to participate in one of the industries' bigger events. It's going to be such a spectacle. All the talent and publishers under one roof, my god! I can't wait to be bombarded by everyone's "A" game. I hope to see some of my Philly friends there and make some new ones as well. Come and visit. I'll be at booth #1210.

03.31.07
THE FALLOUT TOUR

New flyer for the Pittsburgh Frontline Assembly show in May. It's a neat "joining" two-sided postcard. Pick one up... make that two at a music store near you.

HERE is the flyer

02.06.07
NEW PAINTING: CERIWEN MOONSTONE

A recent commision by Heidi Ruby Miller for the potential cover for her upcoming debut sci-fi novel release, Ambasadora.

HERE is the painting.

01.21.07
NEW PAINTING: X-RATED

Something I started a few months ago... then had to backburner it to work on a few commissions... now it's finished.

HERE is the painting.

01.14.07
WEBSITE REDUX

Out with the old and in with the new. 2007 is looking to be a very promising year for myself and UBD.

The most noticeable change IS the website. A complete overhaul of the look and functionality. I think that it's visually interesting and captures the essence that I want to promote... an elegant ordered chaos. Tell me what you think or report any issues that you may have with the site... bw@urbanitebydesign.com

I plan on a few convention outings. View which ones under the CONTACT section.

There's already a few projects completed waiting for the respected parties permission to unveil them. I also have a couple new paintings in final stages to reveal. Hold tight all will be shared.

10.30.06
GUEST ART: WEIRDLINGS

It's guest artist strips over at weirdlings.com for the next few posts.

I start with the different artistic styles. Have a look. Enjoy.
Thanks to O.A. Chambers and Barry Linck for the opportunity.

HERE to view the entry.

09.26.06
GUEST ART: ROCK & ROLL SPOOKSHOW

Amanda Kill puts on another ROCK AND ROLL SPOOK SHOW and I was eager to assist with an image for the flyer.

HERE is the flyer.

09.12.06
BALTIMORE COMIC CON RECAP

Had a fantastic time. I definitely will be doing this convention again next year.

09.11.06
GALLERY UPDATE

New painting in the gallery. Commissioned by a new Pittsburgh Industrial band, Armed For War. I decided to document the step-by-step process of this piece.

HERE is the painting.

06.18.06
GALLERY UPDATE

Two new painting entries in the Gallery section of the site. One of the album art done for the band Rein[Forced] and the other of Imperial Walkers from the Star Wars universe.

06.09.06
2006 BALTIMORE COMIC CON

I wonder if I'll have the chance to chow down on some tasty Shelled Crabs when I travel to Maryland for the BALTIMORE COMIC CON September 9th and 10th.

A two day show. A weekend convention. It's going to be a perfect unveiling for my new, re-visioned prints and trade show image. Both of which I'm still in the thick of things. Designing this, laying out that, printing them... it's a complete-whirl wind here at UBD HQ.

03.28.06
NEW REIN[FORCED] CD AVAILABLE NOW!

Yes, it's finally out! The long awaited release by REIN[FORCED]! I, not only am promoting a great industrial band, but I'm also promoting some fantastic new artwork I vaguely remember completing many months ago. It's good to see that they can finally be proud of a complete and finished package, sight and sound.

HERE is where you can buy the release.

03.01.06
2006 PITTSBURGH COMIC CON

Mark your calendar folks. April 21st-23rd, is the annual PITTSBURGH COMICON at Monroeville's acclaimed convention center, the ExpoMart. Once again I'm expected in attendance and plan to have some new prints and merchandise to sell. Bring cash and your smiles.

12.20.05
I'M HERE, THERE, AND THERE!!!

'Get Seen' appears to be the key phrase as of late. Need to get more people seeing my art. That means going around and pimping my services and leaving little calling cards here and there to drum up some support, prospects, and clients.

My LIVE JOURNAL account is a good place to read me ramble on about odd sort of stuff. Anything from; reviews of books, comics, and movies, to me being silly, or progress reports of current projects in the pipe.

As for MYSPACE, I am there for people to have that quick connection. Basically, I'll only post finished projects.

So, have a peek every so often and say hello or something.

11.20.05
1ST PUBLISHED BOOK COVER

A few years ago, a friend of mine introduced my art to her mother who happened to be a writer. SUSAN DRONEY had a book in the works and figured that I was a perfect match for her yarn... an obsessive man who would do anything, even murder, to be with the woman he loved. It was only till now that the book, The Stalker, became available. Buy the book in the STORE.

HERE is the cover.

11.05.05
IT CAN'T BE!

I'm afraid so. There's no way around. It's futile to imagine anything other than what's laid out.

Yes, as you may have noticed, or if you haven't... welcome 1st timer, yes the site has gotten a major overhauling, I pimped my site, monster housed... I'll stop.

Mmm, yeah. EMAIL ME and tell me what you think. I'm happy with it. Content manage alone is a breath of fresh air. There's the NEW Blog feature under the Public page, chronicling events in my life, art or not related. I hope you enjoy.

03.28.05
2005 PITTSBURGH COMIC CONVENTION

Once again, the annual PITTSBURGH COMICON is upon us and UBD is apart of the mix. April 22nd, 23rd, and 24th at the Monroeville Expomart. Stop by and say hello and pick up some new or old available merchandise. There are plans for new prints, buttons, and stickers. Get them while they're hot.

01.23.05
IS HE ALIVE?

Yup. Alive. Been busy with some upcoming projects that I need to keep under wraps. Sorry gang. Happy belated New Year! Toot!

10.31.04
NOTHING MUCH

Happy Halloween! Hmm... not much to say... I haven't updated the gallery in a while. Sorry. Spreading myself thin with mutiple projects. I hope to post a visual update soon. But I did update the Yield page... the place you're suppose to buy merchandise from me. Sweets to the sweet. Enjoy.

08.08.04
RALLY & SUSTAIN THE DEWBACK

Finished up work on the new flyer for CYBER WARS 4. Figured I would feature the Oscar shunned performance of the DEWBACK, which you should recall it hobbling through the desert planet Tatooine straddled with Imperial Sandtroopers in Star Wars episode 4. This concert event is September 16th, with headline performances by DJ ACUCRACK, ACUMEN NATION, and MINDLESS FAITH.

HERE is the flyer.

06.28.04
RESIDENCE IN RACOON CITY

And the call went out, "Zombie Hunters Unite!" Or something like it, asking, requesting, pleading with us 'hobbyist' designers to build kick-ass submissions to the RESIDENT EVIL: APOCALYPSE movie poster contest. Like with the previous movie, I dove in, guns blazing, leaving many dead and my sanity strewn about the studio.

HERE is the painting and poster.

06.20.04
NOW IN PAPERBACK

My very first paperback cover is finally seeing print! THE STALKER by SUSAN K. DRONEY. It was commissioned 3 years ago by the author. The publisher had been backed-up and exceeded their very limited publishing schedule so the book was in a holding pattern.

HERE is where you can buy it.

05.16.04
IT WILL BE MY DOOM

Finally, it is done. Scrambling like a madman, I attempted to have this new painting available at last month's Pittsburgh Comicon, but failed miserably. Then, without the time constraints, I spent these past two weeks taking my time making sure all the 'I's were dotted and the 'T's crossed. Yes, it's Dr. Doom from the MARVEL COMICS universe.

HERE is the painting.

05.14.04
FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN

My illustration contribution accompanying the short story "Mask and Blade", appears in an anthology titled Fear of the Unknown collected by the folks over at THE HARROW.COM. This eBook collection of writings and art is now available to download for a mere 6 bucks.

HERE for more information and to buy.

05.13.04
SUPPORT MY ECONOMY

Available in the YIELD section of this site are two new prints for purchase. One for the shocking and beautiful Ouchi and one for the Tron inspired Synthetic Rights.

HERE are the prints.

05.03.04
ASLEEP AT THE PGH COMICON

The 2004 PITTSBURGH COMICON has come and gone. Through the many headaches I acquired, I had a great time with friends and renewed acquaintances while the event transpired. Although much of the landscape was mundane, several sights and experiences woke me from my slumber through the 3 day yawn fest.

01.29.04
APRIL EXPOSED

Sounds like a coming of age, low end porn production, but I assure you it's not. At the end of April, the 30th, myself and UBD will be attending the annual PITTSBURGH COMICON held at the ExpoMart in Monroeville. Expect to see some NEW images, prints and goodies. Come and say hello.

11.25.03
DANCES WITH CORPSES

My friends over at THE PROPERTY PROJECT have put together an event in January showcasing a few G/I favorites (VOLTAIRE, EGO LIKENESS, and THOUSHALTNOT) along with a performance of their own. I provide the marketing visual stimulation.

The dead CAN and WILL walk! Be prepared, according to Max Brooks newest book... THE ZOMBIE SURVIVAL GUIDE.

HERE is the flyer.

09.29.03
TO HELL WITH CANDY

When you think that I'm not up to anything productive, leave it to Halloween to draw me out. It's the fun time of the year that begins for me an entire month prior to the event. That's advertising for you. Click the link below to view my third contribution to the yearly Masquerade event.

Sweets to the sweet.

HERE is the flyer.

07.29.03
IMPERIAL IN-VADER-S

While the UBD studio is in the midst of moving to its new residency, I offer you a new flyer for the Rebel dogs I call the Pittsburgh Industrial scene. 4 of the 6 bands are our very own moisture farmers with the yearning to be Jedi warriors like the headliners of the Cyber Wars 3 show... ACUMEN NATION and CELLDWELLER. May the force unite yinz.

HERE is the flyer.

06.27.03
ACHTUNG!!

Yeah, about 2.5 weeks ago I updated the look of the site and got rid it of those pesky pop-ups. You like? I know I've been promising the flashed site for quite some time, but my collaborators are swamped with other work, so I'm on the back burner. I took the next step and bridged the visual differences between the old site and the soon to be flashed site. Right...

Also new, at least to the gallery, is a flyer produced for an up coming concert event. Jim Semonick of the band REIN[FORCED], was Forced, brings HANZEL UND GRETYL and VOO DOU to CLUB LAGA July 29.

HERE is the flyer.

04.20.03
APRIL NEWS

In this month's newsletter... agh, hmm... yes, April 25th-27th the PITTSBURGH COMICON at the Monroeville Expomart. Come visit and say hello to UBD. I'll have 2 new fantastic prints for this show. Which ones, you ask? I guess you'll have to come.

Also, a new postcard for CEREMONY, Pittsburgh's one and ONLY Gothic and Industrial dance club.

Still working on the new site. Stay tuned for drastic changes.

HERE is the flyer.

03.13.03
FINALLY, HE DELIVERS

As promised, some new material. A new flyer/painting for friends over at THE PROPERTY PROJECT for thier Fetish Art and Gothic Spectacular. Also, I've added three new sketch-book images to the GALLERY.

HERE is the flyer.

02.25.03
WINTER BLUES

"Four months and nothing new? What gives B?" I hear that a lot, especially from myself. It's not like I haven't been doing anything, it's just a bit slow coming. I'm posting to let everyone know, hang in there, the new stuff will be up soon. The flashed UBD site is just about ready also. So yeah, lots of things to see soon.

12.18.02
ELVES ON STRIKE!

Apparently, my elves are too busy making toys, rather than churning out new UBD material. Ah, but rest your uneasy seasoned souls, there's plenty of new art on the horizon. I've been slaving away on the Flash version of UBD, and depending on how soon Byron's helpers can produce, will depend on how soon all can view. In the meantime, I made minor updates to the CONNECT section.

11.02.02
GREATER THAN OR EQUILIBRIUM TO

A new concert event EQUILIBRIUM and RESONANCE PRODUCTIONS requested design services. It's a Pittsburgh event showcasing dark music.

HERE is the flyer.

10.11.02
THEY CAME FOR THE CANDY!!!

It's Halloween season again and I'm not going to get scared this year. Nope. The boogie man is not going to get me. The monsters aren't going to suck out my eyeballs. The aliens though, they want my candy!

To celebrate the alien invasion, NIGHT SKY PRODUCTIONS has put together this B-themed event.

HERE is the flyer.

09.23.02
IT'S CEREMONY BUT SMALLER

Well, CEREMONY has been in it's smaller venue for almost a year now, and what a better way to advertise than to make the actual postcards smaller! I'm certain by the end of their run, I'll be designing the postcards the size of stamps. Now that's a good idea.

HERE is the flyer.

09.08.02
MR. FANCY PANTS GETS HIS OWN GIG

So what happens when people like what I do and want to showcase a bunch of my art? You get a gallery show featuring the painted work of yours truly. Either that or I swindled yet another passer-by with my notion of making the world a prettier place. I hope all of you show up, both of you.

LURING: The premier showing of the work by BYRON WINTON. October 05 through November 30, 2002 at HELIOS ARTS GALLERY. Opening reception is at 8pm on Saturday October 12, 2002 at the HELIOS ARTS GALLERY, 5440 Centre Ave Suite 203 Pittsburgh PA. 412.605.0558.

09.07.02
UPDATES AND FIXES(?)

I'm not sure if changing the structure of this site helps any. I've been hearing of navigation issues and the unability to scroll. So, I made the site frames based. It doesn't work in NS4. What do you have to SAY about it?

Added an event to the CONTACT section, The Pittsburgh Horror and Comic Convention. I'll be vending and playing with the toys.

08.11.02
TWO RIGHTS MAKE IT RIGHT!

Maybe some of you are thinking that something is awefully wrong with the new flyer, but I assure you that it was intended to be that way. What the hell am I talking about? Well, the HAND folks! She has TWO right hands. Ugh.

Think about it. She's bitchy. She's been shafted. The look. Her quizical gaze to her deformity. Questions race through her circuits. Who? Why? THAT BYRON!!! "Sorry baby."

HERE is the flyer.

07.24.02
WHO ARE YOU?

*Yawn*, *Stretch*. Hey. Morning. Have I been in a coma? 'Cause, I haven't been very responsive to the site. Sorry gang. I'll see what I can do to make it up to you.

New Stuff... a new flyer, a new painting, and new prints! I'm working on flashing the site (oh, God), adding a journal, and more areas to converge. And, I'll get that Chicago Comic Convention re-cap, soon as I get the picks together.

HERE in the gallery.

06.15.02
CAUGHT IN THE WEB

We all saw the Spider-Man movie and I promise you my new painting had nothing to do with it. I wanted to do this piece for a long time. i did a sketch back in 99 and didn't work on it till the beginning of this year. I wanted to have it done prior to the Pittsburgh Comicon. Eh, oh well.

In other news... the gallery show I was going to have next month, has been pushed back to later this fall. The gallery had some scheduling difficulties that couldn't be worked out. :(

HERE is the painting.

06.02.02
ALL IN A DAY'S WORK

Call me witty for the new flyer artwork. Okay, you don't have to, but some have. I guess some people, maybe you too, see it as being less than par artwork. 'Several justified rows of text, and some lines. Whup-tee doo!' What they fail to see is a little crafty concept utilizing my childhood memories of plastic model car building. I only had a few hours to put this all together, so I pressed forward with this simple thing. Yeah, I'll shut-up now. Now that I've insulted everyone's intelligence.

HERE is the flyer.

05.02.02
IT'S NOT SUPOSTA BE ICKY

The newest flyer is out, and it's not suposta be gory. It's a conert event for BELLA MORTE with HUNGRY LUCY and DEEP RED plus THOUSHALT NOT. It has a tribal thing going on. Yeah, tribal.

HERE is the flyer.

05.01.02
TOO MUCH FOR TOO LONG

Way too much to tell. I've been bad at updating, but before you decide to condemn, I've been busy. Last month, I frantically prepared for this past weekend's Pittsburgh Comicon (I'll cover that in a bit), I also got together more merchandise (I'll cover that too in a bit), and laying down plans for future events (yup, cover that too).

So yeah, the Pittsburgh Comicon was this past weekend (April 26-28), and it was a train wreck from the start. I have a lot to say about this fiasco, but I'm sorry I'll have to cover it in further depths later. I promise not to leave any detail out either. There'll be some fun pictures at least to counteract my upset.

Check out the SHOP on the site for some NEW cool stuff to buy. Like my pals of FORCED CD and an Urbanite By Design TSHIRT and STICKER.

And the big news... my one man gallery show for the whole month of July!! Oh my god, right? My co-DJ friend just so happens to be owner of a reputable gallery here in Pittsburgh and has a lot of faith to put me in his space. This just means I'll have to once again retreat into the shadows and shackle myself within my studio. I'll have more info soon, when it's available.

See ya.

HERE is where to shop.

03.18.02
STATE OF THE NATION

HA. HA Cleveland! First, we get Funker Vogt, then VNV NATION. Who's next? Way to go get them, Kelly. Keep on bringing them to the Burgh.

HERE is the flyer.

03.09.02
FORCED TO SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY

The aggressive electro trio, FORCED, finally release their debut album through DSBP. I never thought it would take this long for it all to come together. I started work on this project early last year and I knew I would be the last person that they have to wait on to have this completed. But I swear it was not me who held back this release. Good luck guys.

HERE is the CD artwork.

02.09.02
FUNKER VOLTAGE

I'm amped and estatic that one of my favorite bands, FUNKER VOGT is finally comming to Pittsburgh. Fan-Fucking-Tastic!!! and I got to do the flyer for the event.

HERE is the flyer.

02.01.02
PAINT SOMETHING!

Two new additions to the Gallery. One is a commission for a Christmas gift, while the other is an attempt to win a movie poster contest for RESIDENT EVIL.

HERE , have a look.

01.10.02
TWO K TWO

2002. What's in store for UBD? First up... it's an overhaul of the site. New colors (black) and pop-up windows. Second, the addition of NEW material... sketch book stuff mainly. Okay, those (the site) are done for now, but I plan to incorporate a better storefront and finally put in that comment/ guest book I've been stalling on. So, hang in there gang.

Lets see... CONVENTIONS again this year. So far it's the Pittsburgh Comicon with plenty more later. Then there's more stuff to buy; prints, comics, stickers, t-shirts and CDs. Yeah, the CD thing... my pals in the band FORCED asked me to do the CD work for them and it'll be out in March.

My thanks go out to everyone who've contacted me with adoration and kind comments. Keep'em comming. It just proves to me that this is not just some hobby (take that parents) and I should enjoy it and share more with you.

12.20.01
GRAPHIC EMERGENCY: HOLIDAY MAKEOVER

Tis the season to get gawdy in design. Trees are garnished, homes illuminated and UBD gets festive. Just a little bit of graphic decor to make things pretty. Happy holidays and see you in 2002.

11.01.01
MASQUERADE OVERVIEW

With the celebration of Halloween past, make-up removed and dental visits awaiting, UBD recounts the event.

Congratulations to Melissa Vo for winning the original artwork from the flyer.

10.26.01
CONVERGE

Not the Goth event :( This is just a new addition to the site concerning UBD's public apperances. You'll be able to find up-comming events and past events with reviews and pictures. The next gig is at Masquerade 5 in Pittsburgh PA, Halloween night. I plan on giving away the original artwork used for that flyer in some-sort of drawing. Yup, no purchase necessary. If you're interested drop me a line with a request and you'll be in the drawing. I'm going to try to get it signed by the bands too. What can I say, I love Halloween.

HERE is the flyer.

10.16.01
FILLIN IN THE GAPS

I worked on some major revisions and additions to the site. Yes, there's still plenty of missing pages, I'll get to them soon enough. Be patient.

10.07.01
IT'S A NEW CEREMONY POSTCARD

For those who don't know already, Ceremony at Club Laga is no more. Instead, it has been transplanted two floors down of the same building. And with any new change, there needs to be proper notice, hence a new postcard.

HERE is the flyer.

09.22.01
THIS IS HALLOWEEN. HALLOWEEN. HALLOWEEN.

Well, after several 'sneak peaks', the 'official' Masquerade 5 flyer is out. This event is about as tacky as Goth gets. Heck, I'll be vending too!

HERE is the flyer.

09.11.01
ALL APOLOGIES

Yes, I know it's not a swift tactic to replace a my old site with a site that's lacking substance. I assure to you that all will be in operation shortly. A need to update with something, was necessary. I hope you're not discouraged by my half attempt to dazzle you and that you'll return with an optimism of being fulfilled. So, until then, scope-out what IS here and COMMENT if you wish.

IT'S A RECESSION AND I'M IN HIDING

Just chilling and laying low. Looking for more of a steady paycheck. Don't get me wrong, freelancing is great and all, but I accumulated ALOT of debt in my former life and it's came-a-collecting. So, in the mean time, I've been educating myself on web scripting some more to re-vamp the site. My next transmission should be when the site is up and kicking.

06.22.01
CYBER WARS FLYER

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away... in the city of Pittsburgh, the battle of industrial strength rages on. Six bands wage a melodious war against one another on stage in front a captivated audience. Ooooo!

No lie. After 7 years of dedicated and commited service they have parted ways. Byron has shifted all of the time he spent on the day job to UBD and his career as a free-lance graphic artist. Good luck.

01.04.01
MOVING FORWARD IN 2001

2001 is projected to be a very busy year for us. We hope for a super successful and rewarding year leading to a bigger and broader audience. Already a few assignments have been finalized and are expected to roll-out in the next coming weeks.

A mini site for Byron's DJing gig as the ELECTROTECHNIK is in production as well as UBD updates and remodeling, as well as the new roster at UBD.

This spring, Byron plans on taking UBD and his work out on the road as his pseudo rock-star tour hitting Chicago, Detroit, and hometown Pittsburgh. During this excursion, Byron will unveil his first ever print portfolio set.

Stay tuned as all information, links and surprises become posted in the days ahead.
